How long have you been in the industry?

Our installation crew and Project Manager have been roofing for nearly 25 years. We’ve been in the roofing industry since 2017. We established Titan in 2021; that was just one month before our first son was born. It was a crazy time – starting a business and taking care of our baby boy!

What appealed to you about this industry?

A long time ago I wanted to be an architect, but that didn’t work out. Working in the roofing industry still allows me to appreciate the beauty of homes and participate in the design process by helping my customers decide which shingle style and color are best for their home. 

What business challenges do you face and how do you overcome them?

The biggest challenge I face is juggling motherhood and running a business. It’s a constant push and pull. But with anything, I always tap into resources available to me. The biggest one being connecting with people that can relate. That always helps. Knowing it’s not just you. We’re all pushing and pulling. 

What is your biggest inspiration?

My son. He is my number one and my everything. Everything I do is for him and our family. Family is first and it’s our number one value at Titan. I like to joke with our customers by telling them they are like family in the sense that we will never try to sell them what they don’t need – not in the sense that they are getting an invite to Thanksgiving dinner!

What do you love about your job?

That we can give back to a community close to our hearts. In July of 2022, we lost our second baby boy in utero. This year, we turned our pain into passion and started Roofing for a Reason™, which means a portion of our proceeds go to Butterfly Baskets, a local non-profit that provides comfort to those impacted by pregnancy challenges, miscarriage, stillbirth, and infant loss. Not only do we give back monetarily to support their mission, but we volunteer our time as part of our mission as well, which is to do good with our talents and to spread love and kindness through connection and community. 

What makes your business stand out from other businesses offering similar services or products?

Our customers love the fact that everything is thorough. They see that we take the time to thoroughly inspect their roofs and provide a detailed assessment of our findings. Everything is transparent from start to finish. We provide impeccable response times, truly honest assessments, and top-notch service.

What advice would you give a homeowner considering a roof replacement?

Get as many estimates as possible. Most contractors will come out free of charge to assess the project. This is your chance to get all your questions answered. Be persistent. Get the answers you need and don't feel sorry about it. Replacing your roof is a huge expense but it's an investment in one of the most important things, your home.
